Golden Circle Project Update: Drill Program Completed on Mount Uniacke Property

October 21, 2026

Playfair’s Golden Circle Project covers eight underexplored former gold producing mines in Nova Scotia. They are known to contain occurrences of historically defined gold mineralization and have the potential to host high-tonnage deposits in addition to lower tonnage but high-grade gold deposits.

Exploration Properties Comprising the Golden Circle Project

Playfair’s Exploration Approach

The recent high gold price coupled with the lack of recent exploration has given Playfair a golden opportunity to produce a succession of high-quality exploration programs from these eight properties.

Playfair made an initial review of the properties to assess the opportunities for both high-grade and high-tonnage exploration. The opportunities at the Mount Uniacke property clearly stood out followed by opportunities at Country Harbour and Wine Harbour.

Detailed review and compilation allowed Playfair to select targets for further exploration and drilling at Mount Uniacke and Country Harbour. Wine Harbour is in the detailed review process, and the remaining five properties will follow.

Mount Uniacke

Playfair’s first drill program on the Golden Circle Project has been completed at the Mount Uniacke property.  In this phase a total of 2,660.5 metres were drilled in 23 holes, two of which encountered old underground workings and were abandoned at a shallow depth. Six holes were drilled in the West Lake Mine area and 17, including the 2 abandoned holes, in the Central Area. The NQ core is currently being logged with selected intervals split and half-core samples being sent for gold analysis.

Gold analyses will be completed on the half-core NQ samples at MSALABS (independent of Playfair) using Chrysos PhotonAssay technology. PhotonAssay is a non-destructive method that uses high-energy X-rays to measure gold in large, approximately five hundred gram samples, reducing sampling variability associated with coarse gold mineralization and allowing the retained material to remain available for additional analysis.

We were happy to welcome members of the Nova Scotia Prospectors to the property during drill program. NSPA have provided a video which you can access on Playfair’s Homepage under the title of “Trip to Mount Uniacke – NSPA”.

Playfair has already received some assay results and is compiling the data as it arrives. Drill results will be released when all results have been completed and compiled.

The recent drill program at Mount Uniacke was supervised by Greg Davison, PGeo, and Perry MacKinnon, PGeo both qualified persons as defined by National Instrument 43-101.

Playfair’s CEO Don Moore said “Playfair continues to be excited by the opportunities available in Nova Scotia’s New Gold Era. We are looking forward to drill results from the first core drilling at Mount Uniacke in over 30 years and to continuing exploration of the Golden Circle Project.”
